Hey Karl,
Glad to see we'll be seeing you in Virginia twice this year. Grindstone is a great course. Parts of it are on what we fondly refer to as "TWOT" (the Wild Oak Trail), which is possibly my favorite trail in Virginia. Nice set-up for a 100....loop course that starts and finishes in at a boyscout (or is it a bible?) camp, so there's easy camping about 50 yards from the start/finish.

See you at MMT....

I don't think you want to make a wager with me at Hardrock :-) You should just buy the beer now for that one. I won't run no 23:23, but 28 hours there should be easy, even after Bighorn and Massannutten. Fat Tire Amber Ale please! :-)

The bet with the Oregonians was 5 min + or - your age. They kicked my ass at WTC and I kicked their asses worse at WS (except for Hal, of course). You, Mr. M11, I can't believe you call me a sandbagger. Look at you last year at Cool, Miwok, etc...

I have made no bets with runners from any other states although I have suggested that this could be the year for FastEd and I to go head-to-head and he needs a few PBR's to pour on his RR wounds, anyway. As for Karl, well, I'm not sure I want to start this but, how about we make a wager for HRH? You wanna start?

We've uncovered two of JizzleWizzle's many issues: drinking and gambling. And this guy is a role model for our youth.

I think the rest of you guys are younger, but he usually gives time if you're older than him. And, yes, I'm not too proud to take the minutes he gives me.

How about we also add a trump card that if a chick from our respective state beats him he buys all from that state beer.

AJW, you are such a sandbagger. No legs, huh? You seemed to finish a 100 miler a few weeks ago with no problems. You still on for buying beers for the Oregonians who beat ya?

Hey Karl, great to read your post and thanks for the congrats. I will certainly not have legs at Cool but I never have. That said, it'll be fun to try to string together a WS/HRH Double in June/July. Plus, it makes for a great family vacation...Squaw, Auburn, Silverton, Ouray, Telluride, you get the drift. See you in a couple weeks.
