Whoboy.......Most of the miles I do between 100s are all about recovery. I just hope to get on the start line with reasonably fresh legs. Sometimes it happens sometimes not, but usually after about 60 miles the "autopilot" light goes on and I can just keep running. It's all related to base more than anything. I just have to jog all day. If I can do that, I'll be near the front. We'll see if I can break my record of 63 gels for 100 miles!

I sleep alot......twice a day. Naps are good!

Durnit you're a tough SOB! I hope to someday run HR, let alone be a favorite after already winning a couple 100s. Without divulging too much (wink), what kind of recovery period did you take after Nutten and Bighorn? Do you focus train for the upcoming races, or is it more base/recovery mileage? I can't comprehend running a focused effort for 100 miles and then repeat the feat, repeat, repeat...Do you sleep? Go get 'em Goat!
